The book i read was A Lion Called Christian, which was about two Australian guys who, after graduating from a university, moved to London. While venturing the streets of London, the two men come across a zoo where they encounter a baby male cub who interests both of them very much. In order to perches this male cub that they called Christian, the two men had to prove they could provide for the lion cub and were responsible owners. This task was difficult for them because they had too find a place with a garden and a basement to hold he lion cub. When the two men were unsuccessful, they asked their bosses if they could house the cud in the shop basement and found a church with a garden so the cub can play. The two men John and Ace continuously worried about keeping the cub: they feared the hardship of domesticating Christian. But before they knew it Christian was in their care. The zoo gave him, away a few days early because he was causing trouble.
After reading the chapter i was confused about John and Ace's feelings about receiving Christian. They constantly talked about how hard it was going to be to keep a lion, but they made sure they did everything possible to prepare for his arrival. Even though they weren't sure what they wanted you can tell they thought long and hard about their decision. If i were to create notes for this chapter, i would use a list.
